The uptake in shoppers and sellers on marketplaces alike was phenomenal.
eBay identified over 100,000 pandemic startups in 2020 alone. This explosion has led to our business’ rapid expansion as the necessity for our tools and services exploded. We worked tirelessly to provide the ultimate support to online merchants selling in such a competitive industry.
As sellers tried to navigate the explosion of the e-commerce industry, the Optiseller team were at the ready with our suite of tools, designed and developed for over 13 years, to make the lives of sellers simpler. Our mission is simple: we want to help retailers sell more online. As marketplace and data experts, we help by supporting sellers to ensure their store is compliant with eBay policies, optimise product listings by providing optimal data, and automate these lengthy processes to save sellers time and effort. Optiseller entered the UK eCommerce Awards at a time when the team was growing exponentially due to the demand for marketplace seller support and tools. Having built a stellar reputation through our relationship with eBay through our Aspect Finder+ tool in recent years. Developing our suite of tools – which is currently used by over 50,000 users in 160 countries – became our main focus. Our Category Lookup tool and Store Performance Dashboard are two of the other stand out tools we have to offer sellers. Our Category Lookup tool allows sellers to pick the best category for their listing, as well as showing them how frequently a seller is filtering with a certain Item Specific using a 5-star rating system. This helps sellers prioritise where to put their efforts first. The Store Performance Dashboard provides a glance overview of your entire store’s performance, which can be drilled into to find out how to make the greatest impact quickly.
Developing our tools and expanding the business over the last few years has involved a lot of imagination, hard work and dedication from our growing team. Entering this award was one of many ways we wanted to recognise our team’s efforts and showcase our expert suite of tools to a wider audience. We are delighted to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award. This has reminded the team that their efforts are seen and are paying off massively.
