We are delighted to be sponsoring the “UK eCommerce in-house team of the year” category at the UK eCommerce Awards 2022. The eCommerce community is a close, fun and engaging bunch of people, and we truly love working closely with in-house teams to make their lives easier – so this seemed like the perfect fit.

We’re going for a double whammy this year, as we are also shortlisted for the “eCommerce software or extension of the year” award. Team Herdify looks forward to meeting lots more of you on the night!

A little about us… We are the first platform in the world to detect and amplify offline word-of-mouth.

What does that mean? In the current economic climate, marketers are struggling with stretched budgets, declining sales, diminishing returns on ad spend, and uncertainty around cookies and privacy.

10,000 adverts are ignored each and every day. Put simply, we put your ads in front of the customers most likely to take notice of your marketing campaigns.

Herdify helps marketers to harness a previously untapped area of marketing strategy: offline word-of-mouth influence. Humans are innately herd animals and follow those around us; 95% of us trust recommendations from friends and family over advertising, but two thirds of those conversations take place offline and can’t be measured.

Herdify is backed by 15 years of data science research with Bristol and Cambridge universities, as well as the Office for National Statistics. Powered by AI, our SaaS portal delivers recommendations on where to target advertising spend.

Our monthly subscription service allows marketers to be hyper-targeted with their advertising budgets, by focussing on locations where people are likely to have heard of their product through word of mouth.

Herdify’s approach is supported by several behavioural science theories, including the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon (frequency illusion). This phenomenon occurs when the product you’ve just been told about suddenly appears everywhere. The product hasn’t increased in frequency, but as humans we filter out the unfamiliar. Once a customer has been primed by a word-of-mouth recommendation from someone they trust, they are more likely to notice and engage with marketing campaigns.

Our portal enables marketers to easily connect their sales data, and receive monthly location targets that directly connect with advertising channels. The uplift? 150-200% increase on ROI within three months. We’d love to have a chat about how we can supercharge your sales.
