About Radiant

Established six years ago, Radiant is a Shopify design and development agency, working with growing brands to enable them to be more successful in ecommerce.

We’re a small, close-knit team of 16 designers, developers, project and account managers. Being a smaller team enables us to work in an agile way, collaborating easily on projects and strategy to deliver results for clients more quickly.

We work with a mixture of clients, from new brands who need a Shopify store to launch into the online space, to established brands like Tropic Skincare, who we work with on an ongoing basis to continually optimise and improve their ecommerce performance. Our clients are often in the skincare and cosmetics, beauty, fashion, homeware and luxury spaces.

Our Award-Nominated Work

Reviewing our portfolio of client work to decide what to submit for the UK Ecommerce Awards, it was gratifying to see that we had lots of clients who would be strong nominations across a range of categories. In the end we narrowed it down to four.

We chose a cross-section of work to showcase our skills across different industries, submitting nominations for the following categories:

  1. App of the Year for our Shopify app, Easy Student Discounts.

This is an app that we developed, publicly available in the Shopify app store for store owners to install. It enables them to create tailored discount schemes for students to better appeal to Gen Z. It’s free to install, with a small percentage of successful student sales revenue taken by the app. The app has been really successful due to this – there’s no risk to the merchant, but lots to gain in additional sales.

  1. Fashion/Apparel Ecommerce Website of the Year, for the Shopify store we designed and developed for Lando Norris.

Of course we were delighted to partner with Lando’s merch brand, and the team there was equally delighted with our work: “We needed a fast launch for an upcoming drop and they pulled it out the bag with a sleek custom site. Since then they’ve been helping us with optimising and maintaining the store, as well as helping our team with strategy and advice around Shopify.”

  1. Beauty, Health and Wellbeing Ecommerce Website of the Year for Koba Skincare.

For KOBA Skincare, we delivered a tailored design and build solution, crafting an upscale website that harmonises with their stunning product range. Our approach aimed to immerse visitors in the brand’s story and facilitate seamless ecommerce experiences.

The ultimate goal was to increase sales and boost the number of subscription orders. Integrated reviews help build social proof with hundreds of 5 star ratings.

We integrated several other solutions to help engage customers and increase conversions:

  • Klaviyo allows the brand to take full control of their customer interactions and data, helping to upgrade purchases to long-term relationships.
  • Recharge’s subscription platform enabled Koba to make it easy for customers to set up ongoing purchases, creating recurring revenue for the brand and helping boost month on month growth.
  • Swym’s wishlist lets Koba’s customers bookmark their favourite products and come back later, which segues with Klaviyo to create effective email campaigns to encourage purchases.
  1. DIY, Home, Furniture and Interior Design Ecommerce Website of the Year, for our custom site build for luxury bathroom brand 34 St John.

We designed the website with a luxury feel, clearly highlighting the brand’s USPs, allowing customers to discover that 34 St John offers a wide range of colour and bespoke services.

We built and implemented the furniture configurator, a bespoke piece of functionality that allows customers to see their chosen products rendered in 3D in the colour of their choice. This helps bring their potential purchase to life and lets them imagine it in their home, increasing the likelihood of a purchase.

Another key innovation is the interactive colour picker, to give customers a truly extensive range of hues to enable them to create and view their perfect, bespoke bathroom. It offers the ability to customise a unit with a colour of choice. By selecting a colour group, then the preferred shade, the picker renders the image in the chosen colour.

Over the past year, the whole team at Radiant has contributed to all of the nominated work, helping our clients see tangible results through new website launches and improved traffic and sales. It’s a real team effort and we were all delighted to find out that our work had been shortlisted in all four categories.

We work hard to make sure we lead the way for our clients, so we keep on top of the latest in ecommerce and market insights to enable their businesses to thrive.

Part of this ethos means we work with partners who can elevate client sites with market-leading integrations and plugins. We make recommendations to clients based on their industry, ambitions, and business needs, discussing additional functionality that can be integrated into their sites to enhance performance.

Some examples include incorporating flexible payment choices, subscription functionality, livechat and customer service options – effectively, anything that improves the customer experience and encourages a visitor to make a purchase. By ensuring our client sites not only look beautiful, but provide a superb user experience and boost traffic and sales, we help brands become more successful.

Finally, a huge thank you to the team, our clients and partners. We’re looking forward to attending the awards to celebrate the work other agencies in the ecommerce space have been delivering, and of course, hope to take home a trophy or two ourselves!
