Quickfire Digital is a team of fast-growing e-commerce specialists who work with scale-hungry businesses.
Through maximising the commercial potential of Shopify Plus, we support brands, retailers and services to focus on four critical metrics: new website sessions, conversion rate, average order value, and repeat customer rate.
We choose the Shopify platform because it takes care of the heavy lifting for online store owners, meaning that they can focus on growing their business without having to worry about keeping the lights on.
We’re not the only Shopify development agency in the UK – and indeed there are others more established than us – but we’re a young, fast-growing agency and we’re using this to our advantage.
E-commerce in the UK continues to grow – it experienced 10 years’ growth in just six months of the covid pandemic – and with consumers spending £110.6 billion online in 2020, the United Kingdom is the fourth largest e-commerce market in the world. It is considered the most advanced e-commerce market in Europe. Despite the reopening of physical stores in April 2021, a further increase of £10 billion (9%) is expected for online sales in 2022.
Such numbers have led to fiercer competition, with more brands emerging online and user expectations increasing. It means that simply having an e-commerce website is no longer good enough, and this is why Quickfire has developed our unique package of tailored support for those e-commerce businesses who match our own ambitions.
The QF Commerce programme is centred on four key e-commerce business metrics: new website sessions, conversion rate, average order value, and repeat customer rate; and customised plans are put in place across the most important website categories.
As Quickfire continues to grow, we are pushing forward with programmes and ideas to deliver wider support for communities. We have developed an e-commerce training and support programme for start-ups and SMEs and have delivered support programmes for charities and not-for-profit organisations.
We have been chosen as a UK Ecommerce Awards finalist thanks to our work across multiple clients. This included the industry-disrupting and innovative Wild Beer Co, who had started to experience online growth and felt restricted and unable to innovate on their custom-built platform.
They wanted to move to Shopify in order to be set up with the foundations to grow their e-commerce arm. Moving to a stable platform which integrated with multiple applications was crucial to enable Wild Beer Co to provide their customers with a much better online shopping experience.
The business wanted to improve the overall user experience of their website and the design whilst also implementing new features such as subscriptions, a loyalty program and product reviews.
Wild Beer Co’s Head of Ecommerce, Zoe Malone, explains why she chose to work with Quickfire: “After having several pitches with some great agencies it felt like a really hard decision to make especially with a limited budget.
“The conversation with Quickfire actually happened really late when I was in the final pitching stages with other agencies. However, after a conversation with them on the phone it just felt like the right agency to work with. They gave me lots of confidence and reassurance and were very knowledgeable about technology.
“They are really approachable and will make sure they are available to support and help you through multiple communication methods.”
Results were immediate, as Zoe said: “After just a couple of weeks we saw strong uplifts in conversion and AOV. Our customers have provided some really positive feedback.”
Other client successes have come from work with Tala and Mylee as well as Stripe and Stare and Blakely Clothing. New projects continue to come in and 2023 is already set to be the most exciting in Quickfire’s short history.
