Americaneagle.com and Soletrader Partner Together for Brand-New Website
Americaneagle.com launched the Soletrader UK website. The project featured a re-platform of Soletrader’s existing ecommerce website to the ROC Commerce platform in order to provide it with a more modern, flexible solution. The project included a variety of custom features such as payment solution integrations, branded content pages, advanced search integrations, and much more.

Americaneagle.com worked diligently to provide Soletrader with an omnichannel ecommerce solution that was flexible and functional. There are a number of standout features, some of which include the following:
- Integration with three online payment solutions – Braintree, PayPal and Klarna
- Integration with UNiDAYS, a student promotion solution
- Advanced search integration which includes product recommendations and recently viewed items
- Integration with MNP, an enterprise resource planning solution that pulls live inventory
- Integration with Magic 360, a solution that combines 360-degree spin with image zoom so customers can view the product from all angles
- Custom content pages for specified brands including Sole (Soletrader’s in-house brand) Hugo Boss, Dr. Martens, BOSS, and more
- Custom store locator for all physical locations across the UK
- Multi-site functionality – eight branded websites all feed into one backend
- “Click and Collect” functionality which enables customers to purchase products online and pick-up in-store, at any location, in one hour
- New site styling for more a modern, eye-catching design
Conclusion
The Americaneagle.com team is thrilled about being named to the UK eCommerce awards shortlist. Soletrader is a long-time client of Americaneagle.com, and the new website took more than two years to complete. It was truly a team effort as there were a number of custom integrations and features needed to achieve the level of performance and flexibility Soletrader was seeking. The project was launched just in time for the holiday season which was the main goal as the time between November and December are Soletrader’s highest earning months.
